When I execute the trainer, windows asks for a file association and wants to know what program I want to use to open the file. I deleted the download and re-downloaded the trainer but it is still doing this. I have tried to open the trianer form within the trainer manager and directly from the download folder, same result. Thanks



UPDATE: It was Windows defender. Sorry. First trainer I came across that needed that turned off. You guys are great thanks for everything your doing.

Extract trainer and make sure trainer/launcher/editor is in a folder excluded from virus scans. Empty quarantine folder if needed or set anything trainer related (paths and EXE's) to ALLOW. Disable any Live/Active/Real-Time tools which may trigger false positives in security software which may terminate the game/trainer when it's activated or options used.

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens

may need to be added to exclusions as well. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again.

I am having the same experience... has there been any movement on this for you? or were you able to figure it out?

Hmm nothing I try gets it to work either, will check with the testers.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Also try the Steam/Bethesda game and trainer, think it works for those. The game is free anyway you get it.

Just tried on Steam version Trainer #2 and it work fine on that one.

I just want to check whether there was any trainer update for the Steam version. The version is now 1.13.13 but the one I see in the trainer page is for 1.13.8. Was the trainer not updated from 1.13.8 or was it updated and subsequently removed?

Since the 1.13.13 is for Windows Store, obviously I didn't use it because I presume that it does not include other distribution platforms.

Appreciate it if anyone can confirm my question above. Thank you.

One more thing: other than the above post, I'm also getting this error message:
