They are preparing the soft-ban wave I am guessing. However at the same time, everyone is complaining about it. So either someone translated it wrong and that message is a warning. Instead of actually saying there is invalid game data. Or they messed up and everyone has invalid game data. 😆
Because even if you delete your save, uninstall/reinstall the game or just do whatever. You will still have that message. So that's why I am assuming it's just a warning and they messed up with their English. Either way, be careful guys.

I do go offline, when I am cheating. Yet when I want to play with friends legitimately I have to go online for that. 😉
I even have two characters for both situations.
I was just giving a warning because if you are in offline, you don't get the messages like these. When you do go online it shows them.
So I thought it would be nice to inform the people that may want to play online one day and not have their game soft-banned when they do go online.

This is all well and good, but why are only some people getting the warning?
I have the same message, it seems like it's a pretty common message judging by the posts on the steam forums.
(Soft)Ban wave should be hitting on the 18th though.

What do you mean by softban wave should be hitting on 18th? I suppose 18th is just an update. Also, I thought softban is ongoing all the time? I thought every time you open the game in the menu, it checks your save file and auto softban if illegal action is found? I'm not sure, correct me if i'm wrong.
