Yes, from my understanding of this the patch was meant to fix a quest for the main story but it also made it so the quest didn't trigger correctly for people who hadn't gotten to that part already thus today 1.2.5 got reverted back to 1.2.2 again.

Guessing a fixed 1.2.3 or newer patch version will go live shortly ahead of the major 1.3 update and even more quest and general bug fixes but it has no ETA as far as I'm aware.

1.2.5 is the current patched version. They're rolled back and released a few times in the past day. The last rollback/update wrecked my framerate..

Though, the CH trainer was working fine still! So good on CH!

Yes, although the game states it's running version 1.2.5 the current CH trainer (version 1.2.2) is still working 100%, so no need for a trainer update just yet

New patch out again earlier today, apparently fixes the problem

Well the was a roll back patch this morning (rolling back to 1.2.2 - which I could not get any trainer option to work on, even freshly downloaded a trainer from here to make sure that was not an issue, so submitted a notification).

And this evening the is another 220.2mb patch to download taking the version number BACK to 1.2.5!

Until they stabilise their patches I think it will be a case of CH chasing their own tails trying to keep up with KCD patches.

As it happens I just hope my trainer notification will be taken to show that the 1.2.5 version is now "live"

My trainer still works after the rollback.

I don't know why people are reporting this game as needing an update. I've been checking every few hours and the 1.2.2 update still works. It most likely will need an update when 1.3 comes out.
