We posted a new trainer less than a week ago. Since then it's patched multiple times, including a couple times today. I am in no hurry to update this until this calms down.

I'll be looking to see if it stops patching for a bit then I will revisit this game. Right now whatever we do likely will be broken shortly thereafter while these dunce developers try to figure out how to program their game after 5 years.

This happens every time. The introduce some new feature or whatever with almost no core internal quality control and testing, then foist it onto the paying public who then have to endure the bugs and crashing and broken features and report it all, then they take 2 weeks to fix it. Hard to believe people pay for busted games these days but it's the norm.

While 99% of the time I'd agree with you about indie games and devs these days, I gotta toss a word here. Stardew Valley is made by one gentleman who goes by the handle 'ConcernedApe'. He has admitted many times he made a mistake coding from scratch rather than using a premade engine as it has made everything harder for everyone, himself most of all.

That said he is a stand up game dev who has stayed up nights fixing individual save files on game launch, always been up front and honest, and always worked to implement what the community wants in ways that fit the game world. Not saying he hasn't messed up at all, just that he is one of the few good ones.

Honestly, he could have taken his literal millions and just ran off and left another game on steam as abandonware. Can't say I wouldn't have in his shoes. Yet for some reason he stays on working more than a full-time job on this game.

tldr; Stardew Valley is made by a honest dev. However, expecting a trainer to keep up with daily patches is a unreasonable expectation. Best to way for things to calm down and not overwork it.

Thanks for all the time you put in for us Caliber & Staff! 💛

Is there anyway to change the .exe the trainer looks for? if you're using a modded version of Stardew you use the SMAPI .exe which is StardewModdingAPI. If it I can probably just configure the trainer options within a mod but just wondering .. ty

I ran into the trainer not working with a totally different EXE as well, because it's a totally different EXE, but then figured if you're using SMAPI anyway, try the Cheats Menu mod for the same commands the trainer has.

    Thanks pal.

either way, this interesting story has no bearing on what WE have to do here in terms of updating trainers. The result is still the same, that we have ridiculous amount of patches to contend with. Maybe this guy is the greatest and nicest guy of all. Doesn't change the problems that are unique to this game and games like it where the developers are breaking their own code or introducing new problems with their patches.

I appreciate your posting, and thank you for your understanding.

are you using it in singleplayer? also make sure to run the trainer as admin. and try to earn some money first and after you used the option.

OK, figured part of it out. Got the money to work and a few others. The unlimited use items keeps saying failed though. I mainly just wanted enough money to get the 25000 sword and the 7500 rod, that worked. But the guy in the desert wants a ton of geodes, was hoping to use unlimited item for 300+ geodes as the video showed but cant get it to not fail.

Edit: the reason why it wasnt working because NUMPAD 1 is CAPTURE DATA, no where did i see i had to capture my "data" first before using the features..
