XCOM 2 Discussion
Trainer Tools and Resources
I only started using the Trainer yesterday.
All seems well, except the Unlimited Moves option?
Been playing a few missions without the option. Then thought to try it out.
The Game crashes then after using that Option. But not straight away. Yesterday after 30 seconds and today after 2 minutes.
Anyone else having the problem?
Otherwise, again great work with the trainer!
There is another console command that really gives you infinite turns as long as it's not turned off.
If you update the trainer next time, you should replace the GiveActionPoints by ToggleUnlimitedActions. This also works for enemies, so a 'turn off before ending turn' would make sense in the help.txt
Right from the instructions..
Numpad /: Unlimited Moves/Action - this option requires that you have turned on the
developer console in the game. Instructions to do that are included
below. The best time to use this is BEFORE you have already moved
a unit. Press this key and the unit can likely move around and
perform many many actions before losing turn. Look at the *HOW
TO TURN ON THE DEVELOPER CONSOLE! instructions below. Note, also, that
if a unit has lost it's turn and you CLICK on it and then use this
option, many times you can continue using the unit again!
click another unit and then click back and you can continue going.
However, that option may be useful as well. No idea if it affects AI.
What is this custom trainer ability please?
I would like the units modded a bit - but not maxed at all 9's for everything.
did integrity check on steam
F1 at main menu ACTIVATED
clicked on Armory
clicked on View Soldiers
selected Soldier (Laura Owens, in my case)
used Capture Unit option (Numpad 1)
Numpad 1: Capture Unit - to use this you must first click away or tab away
from the character you wish to affect. Or if you are in the barracks,
use the arrows at the bottom of the screen to move to a different
character. Next, press this button and then select the character
you wish to affect with the next options (or click the arrows to
get to the character you want if you are in the barracks). You
can then modify health, aim, etc. You have about 2 seconds to
click on or select the unit you wish to affect before this option
Press Numpad 1, then click away from unit (Laura Owens) then back to her, wait for DEACTIVATED in about 2 secons. Then pressed Numpad for Mega Health.
Then click away from unit (Laura Owens) then back to her and her health was 99.
Options working as intended.
Also, note that some options require that the console be activated..
Look at the *HOW TO TURN ON THE DEVELOPER CONSOLE!
*HOW TO TURN ON THE DEVELOPER CONSOLE! You must go to where you launch the
game through steam. Click LIBRARY. Scroll down to XCOM 2 under the GAMES
row. RIGHT CLICK on XCOM 2 and then click Properties. Next, click the
SET LAUNCH OPTIONS button. Add the following text to the input box:
-allowconsole -log -autodebug
Click OK and then CLOSE. Run the game normally and then you can use the
Add Engineer and Add Scientist options.
I have now spent, over the last couple weeks, literally over an hour testing a trainer that is already working.
2. XCOM: Enemy Unknown Trainer 184.108.40.20663
Both work 100% with no issues. I have tested both for over 4 hours each. Not sure if reading the readme guide is hard sigh... I think people over react. Game crashes all well save your game if you use any trainer. Every time you push the any key for the trainer save the game. If you read "read me" it even tells you this. So go back and try again.
Thank you for your heard work. I wish I could do more to support you.
Only time 220.127.116.1163 crashed with me I was running CPUCores with it. Finding out the game itself don't like the program.
