Have you started BOTH game AND trainer from scratch?

Nero, how'd you fix this? Do we have to start a brand new game? I'm getting the same error.

I fixed it by starting a new game, but it seems that after a few minutes the trainer closes, and all of the active trainers stop working. My health gets set back to zero and everything else stops working. This has happened a few times and I can't seem to get the trainer to stay open.

Any suggestions? Or reasons it would be closing?

That's interesting. Is there any error log from the trainer? Are you using the trainer in multiplayer environment?

The trainer (v177+) detects the game, but in both the player editor and dinosaur editor it just stays on "waiting" for all stats

Have you activated the trainer? Are you ingame?

The game is open, the trainer is open, and the trainer says "game found", but that's it. None of the cheats work and everything in the editor just says "waiting...".

I'm not seeing anything in the readme/notes/faq about "activation" though, what's the process for that?

Press F1 after you are ingame and you have opened your inventory once. You'll hear a "trainer activated" sound then you can start using the options and the editor.
