Sorry to say, but it looks like they added in a mini update after the main update, and now the current trainer needs another checkup.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to give you a heads up that the trainer does not seem to be working with the GOG version of Exanima.
It seems to be running a 0.6.3.3e version, but I am not sure if that is the problem or if the exe is inherently different to the steam one

there should be a add gold for arena mode!

Can you provide a savegame with enough gold for me to purchase stuff?

Now it is J?! Damn, it's starting to look like they are doing those mini-updates to break the trainer. I Hope this isn't the case.
