I resumed a savegame where I used the trainer before. Played 5 minutes, no crash. Please make sure you are not using any mods, betas etc. also try to test on a new savegame.

I did use it on a new game. I am not using any mods. Now a couple hours in and the trainer always crashes the game immediately.
I cant start a new game every 2 hours. I'll never get anything accomplished.

Deleted. Was on tt unstable. Duh. Created a new game after opting out of unstable. 0.7.4 appears working fine at present.

    Heres my save:
    drive.google.com/open?id=0BwOTSb5p2ZNZZ1ZhdDZjcU1WNHc

I dont think it matters much. This morning I tried starting a new game several times and the trainer always caused it to crash.
I didnt use any functions. Just hit F1 at the menu, started new, as soon as I hit B to lower my tech, game crashes. If I knew how to do screen capture videos I would show you.

And you are also not opt-in in any beta? And you are not using any mods etc? Because I cannot reproduce it, no matter how much I play if I press B ingame or start a new game etc. the game does not crash.

Unlike my previous idiocy forgetting I was on tt_unstable, I've been messing with a clean opted-out cache verified version since yesterday.

I'm now legitimately experiencing activation crash while inside a loaded game. Soon as I activate, couple seconds, crash.

    Updated:
Before posting again I wanted to make damn sure this time. During the last 2 hours I've been exhaustively trying various combinations trying to whittle down any pattern whatsoever and I just hit something.

    My tech had 2 cabs.
    - GeoCorp Foreman GPR Cab
    - GSO Cosmonaut SAP Cab

I pulled the cabs off so I was nothing but a (foreman) cab as a baseline.

Saved (exited) -> reloaded into that save -> activated -> No crash.

Having either cab attached when saved -> reloaded -> activated -> crash.

This has been repeated a ton in various combinations. Shorty since yours appears specific to you entering build mode this may do nothing for you. But, this is the only thing I've found (here) that changes the state (working -> not working -> working) in any kind of repeatable way.

It might be worth you testing saving as a detached cab just to check it. In particular it seems here if I save as a foreman cab I have 100% success rate (no crash) and just reattach it after loading and activating.

I saw 1 crash when loading as just a cosmonaut cab so that's why I mentioned foreman above. Absolutely no idea why any of this would make a difference but with the number of times I've now verified these sequences, it definitely does have an impact here.

Nope. No betas. no mods. nothing special.
I wouldnt waste your time with stupidity, no matter what my last girlfriend says.

Its not a big deal. I wont be worried about trainers until the game is finally released.
    Thanks for your time.
