Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again.

Good morning!

1. I have cleaned the four folders listed above, rebooted, and grabbed the latest Steam trainer version from CH.

Either at the title screen, a new game, or using an old save game I get the "Trainer cannot find game" error. I have The Following DLC and the Hellraid DLC.

Last time I tried it it worked fine on the STEAM version with just The Following DLC and no Hellraid. Could be the DLC or you are not using the STEAM version of the game.

Hmmm, ok. I will see if there is a way to disable the Hellraid in Steam and will try again. Yes, I am using the Steam client version of the game.

On the steam's game page for dying light there should be a window that says MANAGE MY DLC. You should just be able to uncheck the box for it. Link

Yup, did that and unfortunately no dice. I'll mess with it some more later.

Downloaded game and trainer #1, my game version is 1.34 Hell raid not installed as I don't own it. Trainer activated just fine and I have yet to try all the options but the important ones are working.

If the trainer is not activating it may be your anti-virus blocking it.

Extract trainer and make sure trainer/launcher/editor is in a folder excluded from virus scans. Empty quarantine folder if needed or set anything trainer related (paths and EXE's) to ALLOW. Disable any Live/Active/Real-Time tools which may trigger false positives in security software which may terminate the game/trainer when it's activated or options used.

I can't download this. My browser flags it as a suspicious, I tell it to download anyway, and it doubles down,blocks the download, and says Virus detected

I tried it on both Chrome, and Brave. Really Fking sick of this nanny handholding from the browsers screwing with me thinking they're doing me a favor

windows security has recorded this "trojan" every time I tried to download it
