So, I downloaded the CoH2 Trainer last night and tried to run it, only to find that I was unable to authenticate it. Apparently I had no internet connection according to the trainer. So I left it and went to bed, now i've tried again this morning and it still will not authenticate my trainer. I have tried other trainers I've downloaded and they aren't working either.
Anyone got any ideas as to why this is happening? And if there are no solutions can you tell me where I can get an offline key?

Disable/uninstall all AV, firewall and other security software. Right click run as admin on trainer. Plug pc directly into internet bypassing all network routers and firewalls. If been using VPN software such as spotflux a complete windows reinstall might be necessary.

I tend to disable my AV when downloading the trainers, and this issue has only appeared since yesterday. Previously I had no issues. It could be down to my new router but I would prefer not to have to connect my computer to the ethernet cable directly just to run a trainer or two. I don't tend to run a VPN either.
But as to my final question, where do I go abouts getting an offline authentication key?
