Maybe I have been up to long.. But where is the wood you need for the quartermaster, it the first request she gives you, I have found the iron but the wood eludes me.. Thank folks..

First, check your map. There is an icon directing you to the wood pile. To sound a bit less condescending, it's North of the town and Northeast of the frozen lake and behind a house (also a quest item in the house for another quest). Once you see the woodpile you'll know you're there and what to look for in the future.
