Look like we will have to live with the java script error, so note for all, if you see an error pop when first running the trainer, just click yes or no until it goes away and the trainer will work as normal. It's just a unsupported browser script that sends you to the site if you click on the window of the trainer.

I have a question can I put in a request for the trainer to be updated using my points? I saw an older post saying nothing more will be done.

Why, does the trainer no longer work? Or for a different platform? What is it that needs an update?

i thought i was the only one, everytime i launch the trainer then start the game, i get to the menu to press f1 and it kills the game and the trainer.

Sounds like a real time/active or live scanner of a security software detecting and killing it.

Please disable/uninstall all antivirus, firewall and other security software including browser addons and extensions. Right click "Run as Administrator" on trainer and game. Please note that some security products may still block access to trainer injection even when disabled and must be completely uninstalled. If this is the case, please contact the product vendor for instruction on the proper way to prevent the trainers from being blocked by their software or find a better alternative.

Extract trainer and make sure trainer/launcher/editor is in a folder excluded from virus scans. Empty quarantine folder if needed or set anything trainer related (paths and EXE's) to ALLOW. Disable any Live/Active/Real-Time tools which may trigger false positives in security software that may terminate the game/trainer when it's activated or options used.

may need to be added to exclusions as well. Click and select "Run as Administrator", read the instructions and try again.

Hello, I know this is quite an old game but, well it does have a nice attraction.

Anyways, I got back into it recently, few years back I'd played it and used the trainer without any problems, though I believe it was before the latest update that brought it to Steam. I downloaded the newest trainer and followed all the steps I always do (ie: put it in a folder excluded from my virus scanner) but it just would not want to start. To make sure, I tried other, older and newer, trainers and they started properly.

I came here to look through the responses and I followed the steps I found here, removing my antivirus, rebooting, deleting temp folders content and cheathappens folder content, updated windows (just in case), updated java (again just in case) but it still won't work. When I launch it (right click and start as administrator, yes) it shows the 'cheathappens' logo and I can see the process starting in my task manager, but then it doesn't stay and the trainer doesn't start. Also tried it after starting the game just to cover any variation I could think of, it just shows the logo and nothing happens.

I am quite at a loss as to what I should do.
