FYI: Interesting change in behavior for the Patch #6 Editor with "Jaws DLC" installed. While no crash problems have been experienced, if "God Mode" is enabled, most actions that generate experience (and some others, plot flag changes??) cause party health to go to "zero" and then rapidly bounce back to "full". The only problem that this seems to cause is that party members will chug potions on many of these "health cycles" leaving your potion inventory depleted. This behavior was never observed on previous versions of the Editor. The "attribute" functions of the Patch #6 Editor seem to work fine.
Thats because the editor was made for the standar/deluxe version of the game with no dlc's, and there is no way for me to check that bug that the editor is causing on the new dlc. Because, I dont have the new dlc.
After doing a bit of experimenting, I believe I have found a possible cause for why some people are having issues with certain trainer options not working.
I believe that, since the Attributes editor is not fully compatible with the new DLC, those who use both the editor and the trainer at the same time, are experiencing conflicts between the two programs.
I was able to test this by using ONLY the trainer. When I did this, I did not have any problems. However, when I used the trainer AND the editor at the same time, certain options on the trainer did not work. For example, Unlimited Party Power and Fast Spell Cooldowns function normally when using the trainer by itself, but when used at the same time as the editor, they do not.
I do not know if this is affecting people who have not downloaded the DLC, but I know it affects people who have, as I noticed this when I started a new character after downloading the DLC.
I have confirmed that I am running the newest versions of both the trainer and the editor. I am also making sure that I am running the game, trainer, and editor in Administrator Mode in Windows 8.
I understand that DDS has said that he has not been able to make the editor compatible with the new DLC, so, for those of you who have downloaded the DLC, we may have to stop using it until he is able to make it compatible with it.
Hopefully, this can get fixed, as I find the editor quite useful, as I am sure are all the others who were used to using it before the new DLC was released.
@DDS, if you need anything to make the editor DLC-compatible, let me know, and I will help in any way I can.
I will look at this as soon as i get done making a trainer and a couple of demo videos that i have to do today.
@Jeremy1: If you can provide the new DLC, tha would be great.
Don't know if this is the right place.
When I use the attribute points cheat, the attribute points lock down at first when I hit apply but when I exit the tree they reset. What should I do?
Thanks
PS love the trainers
make sure to load the LATEST trainer..
and also the instructions say..
Numpad 6: Ability Points - toggle this on and you can begin to unlock the abilities.
Note that while this is active, it's best to unlock the abilities one at a time.
TURN OFF WHEN NOT NEEDED.
best,
Cal
