I don't know if this is the right board to be positing this on but, im giving it a shot...

I am using a VPN and i am wondering will i get banned if im using said VPN to download the torrents for myself. I am located in australia but my VPN changes my IP to an american IP address..

I don't want to get banned or anything and i have no intention of breaking this sites rules.

Uhhhhhhhh???!?!?!? what? Torrents? VPN's is a server you tunnel through, which means the trainer goes through the server, then to you. I suggest not using the VPN while downloading here.

yeah i know. but when downloading a trainer it would be based on my IP address. eg my IP address in USA and im in Australia and thats where i normally download from. would that make the system seem like im trying to give use of my account to other people in other countries since the trainer is customized to me personally..

Ultimately I think you should wait for a staff member to give information that I don't have, I just personally think it's smartest and safest to not use VPN on here.

It is unlikely the site will detect and ban you for using a VPN on the forums. VPNs are known to have issues with downloading and using trainers due to the authentication process. A trainer may report you as banned as a result although the issue is that the authentication server rejected the VPN.

Recommendation is not to use VPN software when downloading or using trainers.

Thank you neo7.. I know now. i accidentally downloaded a trainer before i realized my VPN was on due to it automatically starting up whenever it wants to. so ill be more careful in this case. and thanks again mate
