fairness on 20+ rule for this game

To me, it doesn't seem fair that this game trainer gets tagged with the 'lifetime only' rule. 15 of the trainers were for alpha/beta versions. Why did you keep coming out with new trainers for every single alpha/beta release? They were a week or 2 apart. In my opinion, the counting of trainer releases shouldn't start until it gets an actual RETAIL version. But that's just my opinion...

Yes but those 15 trainers were requested and used by the community before the game went over 20, CH supported the game in development it's their right.

The community requested a trainer for the unfinished game - we made one. I'm rather working more as having all my trainers on a schedule.

To the OP - Lifetime is a very worthwhile upgrade anyway and isn't exactly going to break the bank. CH is consistent in responding to community requests (as opposed to demands, which don't go over so well ) when they are able to do so, and many enjoyed Divinity: Original Sin even during the (remarkably "put-together" feeling) beta.

Let's be totally reasonable. Is it fair to just pretend like all the work that 0x90 put into the trainers before the game went gold, with ALL the stuff you can adjust, edit, and cheat, somehow shouldn't count for him just because you disagree with other CH members who requested a trainer for the game?

While you may not intentionally be saying that, it's the unfortunate logical consequence of what you're trying to get across. You're - I think unintentionally, but nonetheless - saying

"I don't care what the community wants, and I don't value the author's time or effort, cater to my whims only!"

Which is a really uncool thing to say given the really cool stuff that membership here gets you. And yeah, if you're not lifetime, you won't be able to download trainers for games with - how many patches has Borderlands had for all its DLC, etc.? 50+? How about CoH 2, that one gets patched darned near twice a week. And all of that means they have to redownload the game, look for that little bit of memory that got moved around, and fix it. Times the whole catalog of games that they maintain. Two authors doing the bulk of the work (and I remember when it was mainly just Cal, too, dancing as fast as possible - 0x90 was an EXCELLENT addition to the staff, but they're still running lean to provide as much content as they do!!).

If you don't care about the community's wishes, or the author's work, or the owners' money, may I finally inquire what it is you're after, here?

Convince every user of the site to stop requesting trainers for alpha/beta releases and we will stop making them. Unfortunately 98% of all games released now are early access and the majority are never actually released out of alpha beta status. We're still releasing trainers for games that have been in ALPHA for YEARS.

A note or side note if you will. I forget how much I paid for my lifetime status. It was a while back to be honest. But I remembered how much of a great investment it was due to the fact I did like to use trainers in video games and I was constantly using google to video new trainers, new builds, etc, etc. And most of the time they didn't work or had viruses attached to them. CH is as legit as it comes for us in the gaming community! You will never regret upgrading!
