I have gone through all the troubleshooting steps to solve my issue. This is an odd one so I best start explaining. So the router/modem combo century link provided was terrible at, you guessed it, routing. Streaming netflix, running a mumble server, and two people playing War Thunder proved to be too much and would cause everyone to be dropped from the network. This is all over WiFi.
So the solution was rather simple, just plug in a unused Linksys and access that point. Now none of my trainers work. I have cleared my cache in all of my browers, confirmed that the windows firewall is down(as it should be), re-downloaded the trainers and pretty much eliminated everything on the troubleshooting list.
I am pretty sure that this has everything to do with the change in my network topography but I don't know how to fix it. I am just hoping for a workaround that doesn't involve a change in my set up. The other router is a crapbox and only good for a modem and having two different WiFi signals so close is another problem.

"none of my trainers work" doesn't tell us anything. Do they crash during authentication? Do they fail to authenticate? Have you tried using an offline key? Do the trainers simply not function within the game. We need more details before we can assist.

OK, my bad. Most of them hang at authenticating and a few, X-COM, tell me I am an invalid/banned user. They don't crash, just hang there 'authenticating.'
I also failed to explain that I tried to get the offline key but I get an error for my secret question. Which I find shocking because I don't know how I could have messed that one up. It is an easy question. So I fear I 'fat fingered' it when I created it. I have tried looking into changing my secret question but I have failed thus far.
The trainers were working, but as I stated before I am now connecting to the ISP through a wifi access point, Linksys router, then hardline to the crap box router/modem combo centurylink provided. I turned the wifi off on the crap box. So it is pretty much acting as a modem and additional router. I am wondering if I should be toying around with a port forwarding rule... any ideas would be welcome.

I have changed my secret question and will be attempting the offline key. I will post results.

Our authentication used a standard port 80 call but we have seen this type of behavior on some routers with built in firewall capabilities or when using VPN software such as Spotflux which messes with the Windows firewall registry settings and causes authentication to fail. I will reset your secret question so you can try the offline key. Your internet/network connection will have to be completely disabled or absent for the offline key to work.

Ok, forget the offline key. I work from home and game while working. *SHHHH* Don't tell my boss. I will fiddle around with the firewall settings on the new introduced router and see what I come up with.
I always have the windows firewall off.

Have you been using Spotflux or other VPN software?
