Sounds like your AV, firewall or other security software including browser addons and extensions blocking or corrupting part of the file unless you are trying to run a 64-bit trainer on a 32-bit OS. The file is fine here.

How do I tell if it is a 32 bit or 64 bit download? Currently Windows Firewall is off and I haven't downloaded any security software for my browser. *edit* Looks like I can't play this game as it is a 64 bit game. It is happening with a few other updated games too.

You need to install the 64-bit version of the operating system.

Just a query regarding the trainer.

I bought Watch dogs via steam yesterday with all the DLC and I tried both trainer 1 and 2 in normal and Admin mode with game in normal and admin mode and whenever I try and activate the trainer it crashes the game -- any ideas apart from disabling the AV?

OS is Win 10 64 bit updated to 1607 anniversary edition and last updated on Jan 10th with Build 14393.693 and running game version 1.06.329

Watch dogs crash when i press F1, both in main menu and ingame.

I have disabled antivirus, run in admin mode and the other option. The game still crash. Without the trainer the game works.

I have windows 7.

Please verify that you use our latest trainer and no other security software/ process is running in the background.

When in doubt, delete your old trainer, clear/wipe your cache and Windows TEMP folder, reboot, download the latest trainer and try again.

And make sure to download the proper trainer for your version of the game (Standard or Complete Edition).
