What caught my eye was the guy had 1090 hours on Record. WHAT?
Took him over 45 full days of playing to decide he didn't like it? I guess he couldn't decide until after the 3rd or 4th playthru. Some people's kids.

Yes, probably that unrecoverable crash at the end of the love scene during the 5th alternate ending.
I have had a couple of titles like that.
I could not torture myself like that DAB. I might be a messed up Scot but if a game ticks me off that bad it go's into the box of doom.
If a game is truly awful I agree with you Toki. However, if I made the mistake of buying a game that is just a *little* bad I'll try to at least push myself to do a quick play through. I remember I screwed up pretty bad once and paid a AAA price for a game that turned out to be lame, but there was no way I was going to pay 50 or 60 dollars for a game at that point and not play it through.
You are forgetting the curse of 'Early Access' which entails developers listening to screaming children.
If only there was a game that could emphasize this point ... oh yes Payday 2.
