I just had to upgrade my Internet Explorer due to issues connecting to some websites. I went with IE-11 because of all the issues I had heard and read that IE-10 users had experienced including my brother a certified software/hardware tech for HP/PB computers.

I have not tried any of my trainers yet, just did the upgrade a couple of days ago, so I don't know which ones may or may not have issues and I have not seen any posting about IE-11 here yet either.

Can the CH team let us know about any Internet Explorer 11 issues that may or may not have arisen?

    Thanks!!!

Same thing with IE11, only older trainers wont authenticate and crash.
If you use old trainers my suggestion to you is to roll back to IE9 and use different browser for those sites.

If you are using win 7 the you should be using IE 9 as the older trainers will only work with that.

    To Kingkob and Toki,

Thank you both for the input and recommendations but after all the horror stories about issues with IE-9 I am not so sure I want to risk that just for the older trainers. Any of those that I have and still use are with games on my Windows XP machine with IE-8 so until there is absolutely no support or access for IE-8 they should be fine.

And it hits me. Wouldn't the offline key tool that CH offers for users who want to use their trainers offline only be able to side step any issues with IE-10 and IE-11? After all. That would actually meet my personal needs more easily no matter which computer I happen to be gaming on when I launch one of the trainers since I don't play online MP type games which usually don't allow any kind of trainers or other cheat tools.

All in all. I guess, short of an update saying that "Trainers produced after such and such a date that are compatible with Windows X and IE-X etc. will also run on IE-10 and IE-11 for those who may have concerns about this" I guess I should say that the responses I have received and the other tidbits of information I have found on the site I have gotten my answers from this post.

Now another off the wall question or questions..

Is there any support or compatibility issues with the other online programs like Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.? Has anyone tried running any CH Trainers under any of the non-Microsoft internet accessing programs?

    Thanks again.

What sort of horror stories are you referring to? I've used IE9 for years now and have no horror story type problems to report whatsoever. I even turn off my Firewall and A/V when using trainers and no problems to report to date. I do regular scans and they have never found anything that's concerned me.

Other peoples problems are all too often a result of their own doing as we see here with trainers on a daily basis.

The issue happens with IE versions 10 and higher. This is because of a change in architecture with the underlying Trident engine and the way that it handles requests which causes a fatal issue in trainers. Currently the trainer will always use IE regardless of your default browser settings. The only solution is to rollback the installation of IE to version 9 or below.

I installed IE10 with Win7 x64 this weekend. It broke my offline key. The trainer just says "Authenticating trainer" forever. I went back to IE9. I don't know if the same thing would happen with IE11.
