This is also crashing (in fact it's a full BSOD) for me. Win8.1 x86_64, everything's up to date, and it's the Steam version. I hadn't tried the trainer pre-netfixes, so I can't report on that, but I've tried it four times, even being beaten down to half health, with no luck.

edit: to clarify the version string is now 1.22

edit #2: on my final attempt it no longer crashes because I ran Steam (and thus Forced) as admin, the trainer as admin, and did what I did before (i.e. activated after being hit). However, neither function works.

Any chance the team would have time to give this title a small update?

I just bought this game on a sale and am having the exact same problems as other people in this thread are describing: Full BSOD when running it with the trainer. Win 8.1, 64-bit, Steam version.

ok ok, first thing off the bat - yes I'm VERY late to the party on this game - got some vacation time so working my way through a VERY long backlog of steam games.

Now to the crux of the matter, I can't get the trainer to work for my copy of the game (Steam).

Now you do get the odd trainer that refuses to play ball but this one is acting a bit more odder than usual.

Oddity #1 - Trainer says that I haven't got the right version of the game. This is despite both the game and the trainer showing as Version 1.23.

Oddity #2 - Trainer is showing the game is running... even when the game isn't running. I've even reboot the computer fresh and only loaded the trainer, it still shows the game as running. It shows the game as running to the trainer even if I haven't even bothered to load up steam.

Wierd...

More details, Win 7 64 bit, FORCED is on my T: drive, Trainer running from desktop on C: (This is normally how I run my trainers and/games - not had any problems before.)

Given that this subforum isn't exactly overflowing with posts or trainer downloads I don't expect the above problem to be solved (though it would be nice if they were).

On to the next game I have in my backlog I guess.

I got 7 CH trainer messages telling me that the trainer version 1.23 I used doesn't match the Steam FORCED version 4.3.3.30826, and I got no error messages it was working or not when using the trainer instructions.

Take heart though... I'm suggesting you mark these trainers 'red' and no longer supported. Turns out I don't like the game--it is too hard right from the get-go with no difficulty levels. And, I only paid $3.74 so the price loss was well done on my part for this one.

With the game recently updated, I was gonna buy it cuz its on sale for the next 2 days or w/e, but ill try to wait until the trainer gets patched as there were some new additions to the game.

u can always use CE, maybe CoSMOS.org has a CT file to download with the latest updates of the game
