I want to sign up for a lifetime-membership as I despise fillers and grinding in video games; I mostly only play to enjoy the story.

I would appreciate it if anyone could answer these questions.

I want to avoid situations where I sign up for a lifetime membership and this site disappears in few years.

1. How long has this site been around?

2. I would like to to know since when this site has adopted paid membership service.

3. any precedence or plans for membership fee discount? Should I wait for such opportunity, or just buy the membership now?

4. has this site ever been down or inactive for a period of time before? In other words, can I trust cheat happens to always update trainers within a reasonable delay?

5. lastly, does this site update trainers for almost every pc game release?

The site has been around since 2001 I'm pretty sure the membership been since 2005 and the discounts come sometimes in mail. But they aren't very big.

I've read somewhere that these guys have been doing this for awhile. Wish I could find the thread.

They seem to pump out trainers too, so I think you would be good for future games for quite awhile.

In approximately a month from now my account will be 10 years old. The site has existed for a long time and my account is a testament to that.

The site has always been a paid membership although there used to be a model where trainers would be released to the public although increased demand and poor release management of games had forced that model to become paid only and never release to public. In addition to this, there used to be a week long trial you could sign up for and this too had disappeared since users were signing up new accounts when the old one expired.

There are sometimes promo codes that are issued out and can be used for discounts however these are few and far between nor regularly given out. If you want to wait out for the next one then sure although we cannot give you an ETA when the next one you qualify to use will come.

The site has well over 90% uptime. The only disturbances have been deliberate DDoS attacks against the site to which PWizard and Nevermore have hardened the security to prevent the majority of it now.

Numerous updates are released with games although you have to account that games released nowadays have very poor release management and updates are released for numerous games on a daily basis to fix bugs causing a lot of strain on resources.
