The Trainer for Starbound needs a little while to activate itself. So maybe you just think the Trainer "freezes". It takes about up to 30 Seconds until the Trainer says "Activated". Just be patient.

About the Infinite Mech Energy: There is a mod in the Workshop granting this.

I also figured out that Trainer Option 1 won't work as long as you're in Adminmode (by /admin via console command). This is because Admin Mode grants also unlmited Health and Energy. If you use the Trainer simultaneously it simply counters the admin mode. Thats the reason why it seems that wether the Trainer nor the Adminmode is working properly.

Just deactivate Adminmode and all will be fine.

I am getting this error with version 1.4. Any ideas?

I'm not having this problem. However if you need a workaround, type in the ingame chat "/admin" then press enter. Followed by /fullbright
This should give you fullbright until you type fullbright in chat again. Do note that this will also enable admin mode/godmode where you can always craft everything and won't take damage or lose stamina, health, and the food bar will always be maxed.

For everyone who gets the error with fullbright. I discovered this only happens if you start the game in the 32bit mode. Normal mode works fine with the trainer.

Nope tried both normal launch and 32 bit launch error is still there.

Can't activate the Trainer.
I get this messages, anyone else with this problem (and know how to fix it)?

edit: ofc i tried running as admin, start trainer first and then the game.

edit2: nvm. starting the game trough steam seems to be the problem for me. fixed it by starting the exe directly

So whenever I use the Toggle Admin Mode on the trainer it shuts the whole game down. Is this happening to anyone else? All the other cheats work fine just that one is shutting down the game.

Is there a benefit to using the one the trainer activates compared to the one i can do in chat?
