Thanks for the tips about all of the exclusions, somewhere along the way, my exclusion for the temp file got deleted and the trainers kept getting blocked upon running them. Very frustrating, but it works great now!

I use this method also but instead of turning it off until I reboot I set it to turn off for just 10 mins. Avast only seems to care about the trainers when they are first started. Once it's already running Avast doesn't care.

I do know that Avast uses less ram/cpu/etc so it wont screw with your video games as much as other AVs
like McAffee/Norton etc

the paid version of avast is not better then the free version.

Since there are people who give me crap for my grammar and is to lazy to check my profile I will say it here as well. I am dyslexic so give me a break as I *TRY* to spell correctly.

i would think the difference in ram/cpu usage between various AV programs are non-factors.

So here is the problem:
I've been trying to download my trainer and it goes through the 4 steps (as the yellow bar fills up). Once the bar is filled, the screen stays that way and doesn't change to download the trainer" screen.
I disabled AVG (FREE VER), added exclusion for this site and to no avail. I also tried to see if anything else is interrupting and disabled or removed any possible software, yet nothing is happening.
Also this showed up just a day or so ago and has been like this with all trainers.

Any idea?

Copy that error and I am with kaspersky. Disabled even adblocker and https everywhere but no download.
