who knows one day they gonna try something new.
We appreciate our members that stood up to Valve and quickly got them to "fix" the issue. For those interested, here is the thread on the Valve forums:

War against "cheaters" :: Steam Discussions - Steam Community

2 days ago - Apparently steam now has a system-wide "feature" that blocks the use of trainers... Why is this even necessary? Why can't you let people play ...
Actually I deleted the main steam thread regarding this incident because I was sick and tired of dumb asses coming in to the thread with idiotic comments like "hurrr cheat bad", which needlessly gives me notifications on my account.

Technically you did when you mentioned Silly Refund, like the idea was silly to you as you know it all kinda thing, that was the mood I got from you.
Was funny though lol
Im trolling Valve with it now in the support site. And they are going crazy about it :P
you guys know of course that you can add non steam games to your library right? well, some guys were posting that when steam added those "game cards" before the last steam update, those non steam games were gone from their libraries. And while they were fixing that problem, they also made that error blocking trainers.
btw that was also fixed the same time when steam fixed the trainer block crap
