Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing Message Board  

The trainer works fine for me, except for the unfortunate inability to select my companion. Numpad 6 doesn't seem to change focus. Numpad 5 also doesn't change focus. All additions of skill and ability points are on the player, and not the companion; which is unfortunate, as she frankly needs them more than Van Helsing does in order to be useful

Everything else I've tested features-wise is working perfectly, just that one hiccup isn't working, any idea what's going on with it Caliber? I would really appreciate anything you might be able to suggest, I've followed all troubleshooting steps and don't seem to be the only one with this issue - and in-game, in an effort to make sure that it's all loaded into memory so it can be worked on, I've traveled from place to place, I've equipped companion with items that change stats, I've leveled up, I've opened all possible screens, and nothing seems to allow the trainer's numpad six option to select her as the focus of adding skill and ability points.

Yup, same issue here. Can't set focus to companion. Besides that trainer works like a charm. Great work as usually.

Edit: Rats, looks like they killed the console sometime between when I picked this game up and now. 'Til Cal can get the pointer fixed, I don't think there's a way to edit the companion's values without getting some tools out. I'll work on that later and see if I can come up with anything useful, but I'm feeling gripey that they'd take out the console commands. Honestly, let people playing offline cheat if they like, they were there in the first place ;_;

Edit 2: The "Numpad ." function, infinite potions, doesn't seem to work either. Can anyone else confirm that for their setup?

I'm willing to send in savegames or whatever I need to do, I'd love to see this trainer fixed if at all possible. I'd probably donate to the site on top of my membership just for support for this game and its upcoming sequel because I love the setting and gameplay so much, let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Did any one got this working with the dlc character? When i use steam i can play it but not with the cheated launcher

You guys do so much for so little in return and I would just like to ask one more thing: When changes are made or trainers fixed, could there be a post/thread just for update notes?

(or is there one and I'm just blind?)

people reported a few problems just a few posts up.. we fixed those items.
