You should verify the good version of the trainer that you have download.

That's because the trainer is for 3.0.0.12754 and the current steam version is .12781

The trainer is outdated, CoH2 got ninjaupdated again

Cal i agree and i appreciate the time taken on this.......TO EVERYONE ELSE!!! DISABLE YOUR AUTO UPDATES ON STEAM FOR THIS GAME TO GIVE THESE LADS A BREAK!

I hope disabling works anyway and if not play steam offline. That is what i am doing from now on because you can't expect cheathappens to spend this amount of time on one game.

Disabling auto update on steam does nothing if you are connecting to Steam they will update the game anyway.

Direct from Steam:
"Thank you for contacting Steam Support.

The option to disable automatic updates does not disable the requirement for Steam to install the latest updates before launching your game. This option will only allow you to delay the update until you next choose to launch the game.

There are no options for running Steam games without all necessary updates."

But it was a nice thought...

Cannot be done with this game on steam, just like Total War Rome 2 it won't let you play without updating, I know I not only tried but also submitted a ticket, and got a similar response to the post above me.... personally, everyone should protest this game updating so much, post about it on their forums and stop playing for a while.
