TriCoH, I believe this was covered a few pages back in this thread, or possibly another thread here. What you MUST do to fix the fire build and artillery no crew bug is to temporarily disable the instant build feature (numpad 7 and 8), build the fire or arty, then re-enable the instant build with a numpad 7 and 8 after each of those two items has been built.

It will now properly re-crew, or provide warmth to freezing troops. Simple to do, and it works around the issue as it stands.

According to release notes you get twice the amount of command points and the nessesary command points also doubled. So instead of 8 you can now get 16 but you get them twice as fast. This allows more and finer steps to unlock things.

From the mind of a non programming end user it appears to me changing one nummer in the code from 8 (or 10) to 16 (or 20) does the trick.
