I just got my new laptop un morning. It runs on Windows 8. So I've tried to install Fallout3 on this computer. But it said it isnt compatible with this system. Does that means old games cant be installed in windows 8? Only games compatible with Windows 8 can be installed?

try to run it in compatibility mode windows 7, if you dont succeed and you really want to play you can use virtualbox to install win 7 on vhd and run the game from there, it's very simple search on google and virtualbox is a freeware. good luck

I've ran and played Fallout 3 on Windows 8 and its fine.
But my FO3 is on steam, so I have no Retail disc to try it from.
