"Hmm, it seems others are not having this problem, but what about when the F1 -key has been associated as a hotkey for Campaign menu? Is there any way to change the main menu hotkeys? As I didn't find anything regarding main menu's hotkeys in the "hotkeys" settings."
I am wanting to fix this same issue. No matter what I do, online or offline, all firewalls and AV disabled, running as admin and not running as admin, I always get the same problem of hitting F1 at the main screen and getting the repeating activated sound. Obviously this is something on my end and it is driving me insane!!!
Is there a way to change the trainer activation key from F1 to another key? Didn't see anything in the troubleshooting guide...

I don't know why it doesn't do that. I just press F1 and it goes smoothly. Have you considered clicking on compaign before pressing F1? I've noticed that while they stated that you should press F1 at the main menu, I normally press it when I'm at the mission select.
Also, it seem like the server went down for maintence today @ 10AM and it is now back up. New patch just finished installing.
