Assassin´s Creed III Message Board  

I installed the game from disc. When the game was released, activation went through the installer. I did't have a Uplay icon on my desktop, just the AC3 Icon.

True, but the previous version of the trainer, the one I used before and was working great last time I played, also crashes the game so I simply downloaded the latest version of the trainer. I tried several from the website and all with the same result. I can't find which version of the game I have anywhere in the game so I assume it's 1.07...

Uhm..this is a bit embarrissing. It turns out I was still running version 1.0. For some reason, Uplay never updated the game, even though the auto update feature was on. I noticed it when I was uninstalling the game. I re-installed it and manually patched it to 1.06. Now, the game runs just fine and so does trainer version 1.06. Problem solved for me. I turned of the auto update feature because I don't want another update. Game worked fine then and does so now. BTW, on the ubisoft patch website, there is no mention of a 1.07 patch or update...

If you installed your retail copy from disc Uplay is never going to update anything as the game is not recognized in the Uplay client.

Afaik the Uplay client has not a feature to add games manually to your Uplay library like ie the Steam client.

So yes, shame on you ... and glad to read you got it solved.

Well, somehow it got into my games library on Uplay, as well as some other games I bought on disc and I cannot launch the game anymore without the Uplay launcher. I rather play without Uplay, less hassle....

The Stealth option doesn't appear to work at all, sadly. Health works perfectly though.

All options of this trainer are working perfectly fine.

Please read the readme/instructions, set the trainer to match your game distribution platform you own the game on (Uplay or Steam) and run it with admin rights.
