Been a while since the last post here, but I guess there's no harm in asking a question. I'm having a heck of a time getting the Add Engineers option to work. I can use any other of the others I want, but the Engineers button doesn't seem to function like the Scientist button does. I do believe I'm following instructions, I have both a satellite being built, as well as a facility under construction just in case that makes a difference. Do I have to wait a day of construction before adding engineers, or am I missing something else, or is the function just not working anymore?
What happens is, I go to the main Base screen, go to Engineering, press the Add Engineers hotkey, back out to the main base screen again, then when I go back to Engineering, I still only have 5 engineers. Do I need to wait until I hear the "Deactivated" to return to the main base screen, or get back to the main screen before it says "Deactivated"? (I have tried both, to no avail, but I was curious if it mattered.)
Also, I did note that in the tutorial video, the guy is adding engineers from the lab instead of engineering, despite what the instructions say, so I tried that as well, to no avail.
I do happen to note that, unlike when I'm using the trainer, the tutorial maker can repeatedly hit the "Add Engineers/Scientists" button repeatedly without having to wait for the "Deactivated" alert.
