XCOM: Enemy Unknown Discussion
Ahh my friend, it is a very common error with trainers/editors. They edit the appfiles of games and most computer antivirus programs go berserk with that. Everything here is 100% clean. Your best bet is to either ignore the error warning or just disable your antivirus when you use the editor.
Ditto. I run Avast and every now and then (it's inconsistent for whatever reason) it'll even prevent me from being able to download the trainer. And the first time I run every trainer, I always have to tell Avast that it's safe. I've submitted the trainers to Avast dozens of times, telling them that the file is harmless, but they have yet to whitelist it. For now, your best bet is probably to whitelist a specific folder (assuming your Antivirus lets you do that) and just store and run all your trainers in that folder.

I am having the same challenge that Wullf89 is. I know that you all will find a solution - I was amazed how fast the new version came out.
Also, the editor can't seem to edit the number of engineers you have, but I may be doing something wrong. I'll play with that more.
