Anno 2070: Deep Ocean Message Board  

Cool. The Java thing makes sense. Just for giggles I uninstalled the Steam version and installed the UPLAY version. It was only $7.50 so I figured I'd give it a try. But it actually works even less... After you activate the trainer at the main menu then start or load any game, the whole thing just exits out or crashes with no error message. Oh well, guess I'll go back to playing something else. Anno 2070 is really old anyway (but fun).

Hi, I have the same problem as "mgilbert". When the trainer has activated and I click on a warehouse the game and the trainer crash to desktop. I playing on the Steam version of the game. I tested some more and the option that doesn't need you to click on the warehouse still works. Option one add wealth, and option 8 super units still work. It's just if you click on the warehouse it crashes both the trainer and the game.

Update
After some testing I got it to work with the old trainer from "July 11, 2020". So if someone else also has a problem with this game you can try that trainer for the Steam version and it maybe works.

It appears to be up to date and working as intended.

Make sure nothing is blocking your trainer.

People using the UConnect plus or the Complete Edition of the game, that is a new platform and or new version of the game. It has different coding and different executable. You will need to contact Pwizard to request a new trainer for this new version and platform of the game.

Try one of the other version trainers. I have no other suggestion. We've been through this multiple times where UBISOFT will swap out .exe for different releases only to unswap them, where one of the other older trainer is still working.

We are looking into Anno 2070 and Deep Ocean expansion in the next 24 hours. These old games patched again for whatever reason, but we have a ton of content elsewhere to update, including a lot of newer games. We will work on these as soon as able, just giving you an ETA.

how i see it have v3 exe and these trainers have v1 v2 only
so wonder do you maybe know will these work on v3 before buying full pack ?

After a decade, the developers recompiled this game to 64 bit. Why? Who knows. However this single change causes the most issues, since it's going to require complete starting over as if this is a brand new game. What exactly did they do to this game that required a patch, and requires being re released as 64 bit?

This last patch was likely more about UBI soft and some "thing" they are doing with the UBI app or their DRM than any update to this game after a decade. At any rate, NO ETA on this update, as this is TWO games now that will require complete start over from scratch.
