Game had patched again. Trainer had to be updated. AGAIN.

We have now released over *20 trainers* and *17 editors* for this one game. Game will be retired soon. If you want to see support for this game continue, I would highly consider making a donation to the site.

That is not good news considering they've got another season of DLC planned :/

I'm unlimited but still send donations your guys way when I can so hopefully the support for this game continues.

more DLC? well I guess by now you could have bought borderlands 3 and borderlands 4 LOL..

I guess the game has been pretty successful overall. but 20+ patches? good grief.

Thanks for the update, everything seems to be working now.

Not keen on companies releasing insane numbers of small DLC packs for games, and patching inbetween. Miss the days where I bought a game, and possibly an expansion pack or two. Can imagine how it'd annoy those of you who produce the trainers.

This, and the post from Chris, is disappointing and disturbing. I just re-upped my membership expecting that BL2 would continue to be supported.

For me, the Trainer has always been problematic. However, I can live with the Editor if the Trainer is discontinued, especially if it was further enhanced.

Having devs that don't play and/or understand the game also has its own unique problems.

The problem is that when we priced our membership, we didn't plan on having to produce 20+ trainers for every other game that is released. When you pile those updates on top of new games which also patch daily, it snowballs into a massive amount of work each day. It doesn't help that the majority of members expect us to release an updated trainer within about 3 hours of each game patching or being released.

For example, in JULY 2012, we released 64 trainers. In JULY 2013 we released 179 trainers. That's a 280% increase in the number of trainers that we had to release in order to keep up with new games and patches. In the first six months of 2012, we released 376 trainers. In the first six months of 2013 we released 897 trainers. Again, a 240% increase. We had to hire an additional programmer and have not raised membership prices to adjust for these additional expenses.

Unfortunately we just can't continue down this path of endless patching without increasing revenue in some way. Either by donations, increased membership prices across the board or an additional level of membership for games that patch more than 20 times.

Just sent a donation. I'd personally be open to a "high patch" membership tier. Borderlands 2 is a pain for you, but the trainer makes it so much fun!

Hope others will follow suit with donations and keep this one alive.

Wanted to give a big THANK YOU to the team for continuing to support this game. It's still one of my fav's, and I'm glad you put in the effort to keep the trainer up-to-date for it. Thank you for all the hard work involved!

Also sent in a small donation! You guys put in extra effort on this and many others, thought you might appreciate a little tip for the work.
