When I download SPORE MEGA TRAINER (STEAM 08.09.2011), the trainer is not in the .zip file, just the .txt file is. Any help would be appreciated.

Properly configure your anti-virus software or disable/uninstall it. Refer to your AV's documentation on information on how to properly configure it require user intervention when dealing with detections instead of auto-deleting.

Microsoft Security Essentials is the recommended AV to use as it has the least conflicts with trainers.

I thought that also, i tried to download it with my AV and firewall off, didn't work. I am able to download other trainers with no problem.

This is a rare glitch that happens sometimes, im sure Admin will fix it when they see this message

I'm having the same issue with the Mass Effect trainer (ME1), though I can download Me2 and 3 just find, along with the other 7 or 8 trainers I've gotten in the last month... this is the first one that's given me only the .txt... quite confusing, I must say.

we recently updated a bunch of older trainers to work with Windows 8. some of them may not be compiling correctly at runtime. I will look into and correct the issue when I am back in town tomorrow.
