I've noticed there are not any plans to support a trainer for the Maximum Edition of Crysis2, one reason was not wanting to spend anymore money or invest anymore into creating trainers for Crysis2 well at least in the case of Unlimited Users who may have purchased the Max. Edition via Steam or Origin.

So that being said should I just assume this is the way of things here at Cheat Happens? People pony up money to have a membership here, many request a trainer for "X" and.....nothing, just nope, no, and we aint spending any of the money members invest into a membership to supply them with trainers that more than one person is asking for?

I'm just curious is all.

We make the trainers that we want to make and support the games that we choose based on many different factors. Your membership does not mean that every single game you "expect" to have a trainer for will be made. It costs us $500 to produce each trainer. That includes buying the game (sometimes 3-5 copies of each game from different sources), maintaining the trainer through numerous patches (some trainers have been updated over 35 times through 35 patches), and supporting the trainer. THis particular game is actually over a year old, they just slapped a shiny new name on it in order to try and jump start sales. If we buy it on Steam then it automatically "upgrades" our Crysis 2 to the "Maximum Edition" which means that we will no longer be able to run and update the original version unless we buy another copy of THAT game and then install it on a completely different PC. I'm sorry, but it's too much of a hassle and not something we want to deal with. If you want a trainer for this game, I suggest you check out CheatScapes.com where one of the authors has released one.

the 'way' at cheathappens is that we bought multiple versions of that game (and 100's of others) when it came out. the fact that the developers decided to make yet another version of this game > year later from the original game release is what is the problem here. we don't plan to buy super packs or updated games that are years old because the DEVELOPERS ARE TRYING TO MAKE MORE MONEY OFF OF A TITLE, not us.. your membership hasn't changed because of this game.. in fact in the time that crysis 2 originally came out until now we have likely release 1000's of trainers and updates.. your assertation that we somehow don't provide members alot of value for their money is bunk. you could have bought the original crysis 2 at probably 10 bucks on steam and been just fine. we don't promise to make new trainers for games forever for a single title, nor do we promise there will be trainers for every game that ever comes out. i challenge you to find a better source of trainers than us, however. NOBODY has the trainers covered like cheathappens.. period-

I already own Crysis 2 from when it launched, on Steam you have 50% off reg price of Max. Edition by owning Crysis 2 in the first place, I was actually curious because before making a decision on whether or not to purchase the upgrade I wanted to know if it will EVER be supported on here.

The reason I was suprised by the responses given by CH.com folks was because nobody seems to have had an issue with the Enhanced Witcher 2, sure that update/add-on was free for those who already owned The Witcher 2 unlike the new add-ons offered in Max. Edition Crysis2 which costs money, but still kinda the same situation.

I'm not the one assertaining that $ from members isnt reflected in the amount of trainers provided, if you "assumed" that's what I was trying to convey then I'm sorry it ruffled your feathers so easily. I was asking if say the majority said we want X, what do you do? Ignore? Or what?

Btw My previous membership here was with an email no longer active so if I really felt you guys n gals didnt provide jack squat why would I have come back....? lol chill out.

PS in short if a higher volume of members requested the trainer what would happen or should I consider the responses as a solid NO NOPE NEGATIVE lol etc.

The difference with W2 was that it was a FREE UPGRADE and everyone that purchased it could upgrade to it and there would be no need to support the non enhanced version any more. The majority of people that own C2 will not purchase it again (even at half price) just to get a couple new maps. It's too difficult to support multiple versions of the game, regardless of how many members ask for it.

You've never hosted a professional website that takes up a metric ton of bandwidth because millions of users access and/or download stuff on a daily basis have you? That's several funds going in right there (and this is simplifying it by neglecting upgrades to the web servers when needed which cost money as well).

There's the payment of employment that PWizard has to make out to those that officially work for Cheat Happens which by whatever scheme that is takes up a smaller chunk than the bandwidth above.

Then you get to the games itself which costs around $60 bucks per game (which is slightly more than the price of a 3-year membership) and PWizard buys several version of the popular games.

So yeah...I'll let you do the math on that one (hint: It's not cheap).
