Game crashes whenever I activate the trainer.
I launch the trainer(Administrator) -> Launch Game(Administrator) -> press F1 at menu -> After cutscene game crashes.
If I play without trainer, game works perfectly.
Edit: my bad, had downloaded the retail version. Works perfect with steam version.

Using the STEAM trainer. My steam version is the correct version. Whenever I activate the trainer at the main menu the game crashes. Tried all suggested tricks

No but the last trainer didn't work (anymore) for some reason. But (and I am not trying to be a **** here) - the new one doesn't work either. Game still crashes as soon as I activate the trainer

Are you using the STEAM version of the game? Have you done an integrity check to verify the STEAM files to make sure you are on the latest version? Have you done everything in the trainer troubleshooting guide?

The "Max Payne 3" executable shows "Version 1.0.0.196" under it's details. My PC is a purely game machine so the only "protection" I have is Windows Defender and I turned it off for this one but it didn't change anything. WD usually does not interfere with the trainers anyhow. Tried running game and trainer as Admin - tried ALT/Tabbing - tried everything
