It is like Dawn of War II combined with X-com but with a smaller budget in a steampunk fantasy setting.

I hope they make another installment of the game that explains the story in greater detail because honestly it feels like if you haven't already played the Table Top game you are going to be completely lost.

If you already like confrontation and know the story, then by all means have fun with this title. If you don't know anything about Confrontation then you may want to select a triple A title with the same gameplay and get more for your money.

I personally have no exposure to the table top game and this was the first I heard of it.

Game-play Mechanics: Kind of wonky, almost has the feel that it was made for a console and was ported to PC as an after thought.
I don't care for the use of the mouse wheel as another button, it's made to scroll with not click.

Story: As was stated earlier, with no previous experience with the title I am somewhat lost as to exactly what the differences are between different character types.

Graphics: Not bad, but somewhat cartoony. The control of the screen is adequate, (except for the pressing of the mouse wheel). It is on par with many AAA releases though, (DAII comes to mind).

Sound: Not a bad choice of music and it does usually fit the scene. I use a Logitech Z4 sound system and the game was able to take advantage of everything my sound system could produce.

Replay-ablity: Next to none, unless a multi-player game is what you have in mind. Even the first run through it was almost obvious what was going to happen next.

All in All: Not a bad title, but not worth the price in my opinion. It does list as an RPG/Strategy, but the role playing is certainly downplayed. This is more of an action game with Strategy properties thrown in.
