Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Discussion
That however was not as simple (or i might be daft) as it seemed, so here i will clarify the "how to use".
1 Open the command console without actually yet targeting the lock.
2 Enter the word "unlock" and THEN target the desired lock and click it. It then shows the ID number of current item/lock/door/chest.
3 Press return. If you have done it right, the it will state eg: "Unlocked Display Case".
For some this is selfexplanatory, but i admit, it took me a bit of time to l2use it properly
This command obviously only works if you are supposed to be able to open the target as a part of the gameplay... In other words this do not work for doors etc if the gameplay does not allow you to.
