Hello, I am having a bit of trouble with trainer number 3 in your list. I load up the game fine, the version matches (I checked) however the minute it switches to the player the game crashes. Do I need to activate options after I have control? I bought the special set that has underground 1 and 2 as well as Most Wanted so if it is the black edition I would not know. Any help is appreciated.

Simple question: does it crash without the trainer?

No, the game does not crash if an option is not enabled. When it is enabled on the other hand it crashes around 7 seconds later (if enabled at the start then it crashes just after the big hill shown). It depends on when it is entered as to when it crashes.
