i don't think we are going to do much more with this game, especially since people appear to be able to edit savegames easily.

Indeed, especially the 1 turn research. Massive amounts of money don't seem to affect research speed as much as it did in the first game.

Since it is a 4x game, you should be able to buy your way to faster research, bribe factions for more trade/commerce, faster building, buy/lease planets/solar systems, if you have enough cash to do so.

i still cant get this game to work propaly,and i cant change to fullscreen and it still crash, and now i cant get accsess to option, sound disapers as well, so i have to restart pc, so for me it is still wais of money

Aye even with a high end computer with 64bit OS like I have it still doesn't even work. Horribly disappointed with how this game was handled.
