I am no Steam Fan but Origin is junk. Hated it back when i bought Battle Field 3, SWTOR but will have to use it to get into ME3 like when launching steam games bought require their product to be active and online. Battle Field 3 i would lose connection from the platform and get DC'ed from Battle Field because of this. Have not been a fan since then. Like some say though it is still a BETA product at this time. So time will tell, i still don't like how open the end user license is with personal data though. That is my only complaint i cant put off by saying it's "beta".

I have Steam and Origin. Origin for games I can not get on Steam now or Was not on steam before!

Origin has never crashed on my system or froze. Customer Service I have to say was really fast. Pretty much 5 hours to 12 hours for an initial reply. Due to time zone's. Downloading from them is much faster for me. I do not see it as a beta. Even tho I only have 4 games on it The Sims 3, GodFather 2, BF3 and ME3 Demo.

Steam I have most of my games on. Has crashed about ten times Has frozen on me more. But I still use it why cause it has my games on it. Customer service been up to a week before I even got an initial reply and downloading is poor :s even from the closest point and there is no problems with my line. Also there is times when I could not download any game I wanted to install on my system. But I still use it why cause my games are on it.

Oh and I wont buy TOR unless I can get on a private server! No way am I being milked £100 a year to play a game I bought for £40 - £60.

I tried Origin. But I didn't like it.

I disagree with one part of their ToS, for one, and there's not really many EA games I like that I can't get on console.

I'm definitely not getting ME3 for PC, but I will purchase it for my PS3. Just because EA's forcing it to be sold under Origin for the PC, and I completely disagree with that, doesn't mean I can't get it on console.

There not really forcing they decided after being told that they would be charged more for putting the product through Steam. So I can agree with them on that side.

The biggest issues I have with origin fall in the fine print.

By installing it, they get to periodically scan your computer for any software that they feel violates their terms of use. If they find it, you're subject to having your account deactivated.

Also, they reserve the right to force you to re-purchase a game as early as six months after your initial purchase. Full price, paid twice (Or More) for one game seems excessive and wrong. I refuse to buy rentware from anyone, ever.

Origin! say no more. been playing Swtor a while now and origin are awful.

You do know you dont need to launch the game through origin right if it is a problem for you, only game that i have played lately that require origin to be active is BF3, my swtor runs just fine with out origin on, but i did get the retail version incase you got the DD version then it is your own fault about origin having to run.

On a different note i have got no issues with origin compared to Steam, great support when needed and games download fast and the auto patch seems to work well, cant complain about it even during the bf3 launch period it ran quite smooth.

So Origin or not im not worried at all about ME3, what i am worried about is the river of tears about day 1 DLC's come on people get over it, the game is complete if they release it,it is there call not our call what is 100% of the game.
