Is an option for unlimited inventory space possible? I'm going to be testing it for myself by looking for the max inventory number and using the 3 inventory upgrades to see if I can find it, not knowing if this will work, or if I even use the right parameters I'm wondering if there could be an option to increase inventory capacity beyond the measly 18 slots we get with all upgrades.

you have to do modding.

you need to edit the .pak files in the game folder/Data and change the necessary content.

Search on the Google, you'll find many things.
