Nevermind. I uninstalled Dead Island. This game was just way way way too buggy.

@PWizard, for starters your trainers are the only ones I've tried that have this problem. It always occurs to me that it might be the "it's not you, it's me" case, of course it might be, but I've shut down the UAC on my rig and I never have permissions issues.
I'm also the admin and only user on this rig. I also always "run this program as Admin". And I always shut down my AV software before starting the game, for maximum performance.

But what I take issue with is the lack of proper support from you people. I've reported this issue with the Crysis 2 trainer as well, and always very nicely, but evidently "nice" didn't get any results. So yeah, I had to get snippy because that's the only way to get your attention.
By sheer accident I stumbled upon a related post on the Crysis 2 trainer thread where you and another staff member so gladly post and repost and repost with another person who had the same issue.
In his case it had something to do with his HDMI setting blah blah, but the point is there's no "bugs and possible fixes" section, so that people who have problems with the trainer can first check there to see if there's a quickfix like pc setting tweaks, before posting in the trainer thread, flooding it and hardly ever getting a response from you.

Seems to me that just because you make trainers for us, that we have absolutely no right to get snippy. Well newsflash, we do have the right, because to get these trainers we have to upgrade to Unlimited status, and we pay for it. Don't expect us to kiss your behind too.

Thx man for the trainer

I tryed the new trainer and it creashs the game when it is loading you can push F1 and then it starts to load and then game closes

They rolled back the patch so the trainer has been removed. Today has been the day for idiot developer moves.

yes the game reports 1.2.0 but the 1.1.0 trainer still works with it. that's right.. do not use the 1.2.0 trainer with the 1.2.0 version of the game, use the 1.1.0 trainer.

confused? blame the developers..
