I downloaded this trainer to play my game, but, the G74SX by Asus does not have a number lock key since the keypad is a dedicated number keypad. The trainer thinks that numlock is off. Also, when I press "F1" during the game, nothing happens. I don't hear, "Trainer Activated". What can I do?

NumLock might just be activated by, say, F10 or something. Are you absolutely sure there's no way to activate it?

Update: I just had to restart my PC and I hear "Trainer Activated" now. But, I still don't have a num lock key and the trainer thinks that it is off.

You could try the trainer customizer and re-map the keys to ones that your laptop will recognize.

Thanks, I tried your suggestion and it works now. Don't know why Asus would make the keypad just a dedicated numbers key. But, now I know what to do. Again, thanks everybody.

The keyboard technically doesn't have a numberpad its a new system ASUS was trying out, of course nobody liked it one bit.

But the key configurator on the customizer should allow you to select the keys and it should recognise them.

Strange... The manual I just downloaded from Asus.com very clearly shows a "NumLK" key (on page 14) right above the 7 key on the keypad to the right.

What region is your notebook? I ask because the manual states the keyboard layout differs according to territory. Maybe the USA model is different from what is available in Europe (or Afghanistan).
