Oddly enough same exact problem here. Only the Mass Effect trainers give issues, must be the way they are specifically written compared to the majority of others.

Same here. Other games are perfectly fine. And it only started after the 1.2 update, which was the oddest part. Oh well, there are some Coalesced edits that give you just about any cheat you would need as well

I got mine sorted out. I just had to find the right place to add a firewall exception in my antivirus software.

iv never had to tinker with firewalls
and AV's only to add my trainer folder to the exceptions
so i stop getting false positives

both mass effects trainers work fine for me
when using thier respective no cd fix

i think dead space2 i needed a no cd fix too

a no cd fix is number 2 on the list when i have issues
first is game and trainer version checks

also if you run bitdefender AV, it likes molesting games as well
make sure to add your game .exe's to its well hidden second
exclusion list under an "advanced" button

well i added the files to my exceptions list and i still get false positive if i use the promo the only thing that works with that is the credits and 1 at a time and you have to wait 1min before you can use it again so i gues it simpley just does not work for me any other sugestions would be great !!

You can try to add the whole directory to your exceptions list.
I had the same problem with AVG where only adding the file was not enough. The file and the whole Directory worked well. I haven't had a trainer problem since.
