As I'm sure you know, when you place a URL in [ url ][/ url ] tags, h t t p : / (h t t p is auto removed from this post) is automatically added to the start of the link.
In 95% of cases, this prevents the link from working, because the target page isn't actually prefaced by those characters.
Can we have the automatic h t t p-ing removed from the url tag feature? Would be much appreciated.

All that is missing is the :
I haven't tried to post a link for a while on a blog.
EDIT:
Just tried, seems if I use cheathappens.com it works fine.
But anything with the full URL just removes the :
