Cat is the name of a potion, hence recipe. I don't remember exactly what it does though.
I think you'll find most people that the oren cheat doesn't work, probably increases the count of another item.
For me it was the cat recipe.
5000 of those are heavy
this has been addressed for all THREE versions of the game. orens has been tested on all three versions with multiple savegames from multiple people. we have it all worked out now-

The cat potion gives a night vision / thermal image effect. The oren option finally works for me without any side effect. Thank you for the hard work
