DX11 support should increase performance, and visual quality assuming your card supports it.
The reason we said "But can it run Crysis?" was because Crysis was horrible optimized, and when something is that broken and doesn't utilize it's resources it becomes a benchmark for worst case scenarios.

Horrible Optimized is a small understatement,
i acually blew up my Nvidia 8800GTX with Crysis, played several hours, no problem but a one point a got only red, green and bleu stripes in view, crossing my sreen. ended the game succesfully but my dektop was the same
card was a 120 degrees celcius, in a new case of ALU with eXtreme cooling, 65 in a hot summer.????
