Well, I think this will help :
Maybe you can see when attempting to repair your armor at the craftmanshop that your armor chest's slot is used by a "second arm's armor". There are two arm's armor and THAT is the bug because it keeps the slot for the chest.
So, deactivate all the options from the trainer and reload the sequence before the present one (sequence 5 - when it's possible to buy an armor chest). Go to the craftmanshop and see that the slot is empty as new. Back to "your" sequence and buy the chest armor.
By the way, I didn't manage to fix the knives's bug and the mini freezes that occur all the time...

I can absolutely confirm that this works.
Just followed the above method with the trainer open, but not loaded (had not done the F1 code injection) and it worked perfectly.
Returned to my current point in the memories to be able to buy Roman, Rondure (Sp?!) and Plate chest armor

don't have this bug. at least not that ive noticed yet but one i do have is any bank i flag remains flagged in my map. i can flag and deflag other items fine just banks get stuck on. weird thing is i am using a legit copy
how do u have a legit copy.
